I am a Melbourne-based artist exploring childhood memories through sound. My work draws on the metaphor of fungal networks—hidden yet continuous channels of communication—mirroring how sound connects memory and body. The piano, a central symbol in my life, often projects outward with authority, yet I am drawn to quieter moments: pressing the mute key in practice or sustaining the reverb pedal when alone. These gestures turn performance into intimacy. By embedding sound triggers in soft, sponge-like forms, I invite audiences to touch and activate sound, as if pressing the pedals of memory, entering a shared resonance within this network.
