Dot dot dot. And what’s between them is the reason they are. The in-betweens of ‘things’ serve to define the ‘things’, bind them and create an opportunity to breathe. In the breath, I exist. To explore my own limitations of this phenomenon, I use light and the lens of a camera, capturing unnotable objects, surfaces, shapes. Through the analogue processes of darkroom printing, zooming in, cropping out, assembling, bending, overlaying, I explore the ever-changing experience of mind. Longing for stillness. While printing the cosmic-like grain of photograph onto paper, I fall into it, with a sweet sense of pointlessness. Still, I am in my mind palace, drawing circles.
