Rory Giezekamp

I am male Bower Bird and all sexes of Eurasian Coot, committed to synthesising sculptural, sonic and performance works that embody the queerness of hyper-capitalistic and consumerist environments. Bending over to pick up rubbish is the most exciting and disruptive part of my routine flânerie. PVA glue is a fragile white amber, a synthetic sap of the Anthropocene. I drown our pollutive techno-fossils in the whiteness they were born from, generating ‘ground-scape’ paintings of unsustainable cities and lifestyles that have been violently imposed on this land.
