Isabella Cox

Isabella's artwork is primarily focused on the beauty and demise of the world's environment. She explores a plethora of mediums including clay and wax, adapting materials to benefit the meaning and themes within the work. Isabella aims to educate and motivate the viewer to take action against the deterioration of our environment. Through her love of nature and what it produces, Isabella has developed her practice to focus on the areas where humans fail in protecting the environment. Isabella is influenced by her love for Australia and the preservation of the natural wonders it holds. Bleached Barrier Reef is an iconographic display on how the Great Barrier Reef is falling slowly into disrepair, caused by bleaching, pesticides and constant overuse. Through her artwork Isabella offers her audience a glimpse of what our world could become if we do not put actions to our words.
