Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting)

My practice investigates both the separation and connection of life and its characters.
The forms presented investigate the possibilities of distortion through formal arrangements within the composition. Selected structures and figures collide to find a middle ground between contrast and unity.
Production of these paintings is an undertaking of trial and error, where intriguing moments within paintings lend themselves to prompt the next mark – in this way my practice is a result of perceiving and responding.
