Fiona Shewan
Taking an expanded approach to photography, my practice hovers in liminal states, from the visible to the ethereal. I am interested in making work that tethers the line between emergence and disappearance. Weaving threads from the world around us, I gravitate towards producing work that draws attention to the potential for poetry in physical phenomena and optics. Drawing links between psychology and matter, my practice is shaped by curiosity, wonder and chance encounters.
